We are hosting a community workshop next week where we will explore in more detail the challenges experienced locally and the changes you would like to see to improve walking, wheeling (use a wheelchair, mobility scooter or pushchair) and cycling in Yate.
The workshop will involve working in small groups to discuss things that you like and any challenges you experience about moving around in Yate. Afterwards, we will work together to talk through potential changes you would like to see to overcome any challenges and enhance the things you like in your neighbourhood.
The workshop will be held at Yate library on Tuesday 30 April, 6pm - 7.30pm.
Spaces are limited so anyone wanting to attend needs to register first.
If you would like to attend, please register via Eventbrite.
If you have any questions or accessibility requirements, please email the project team at GettingaboutinYate@southglos.gov.uk.

The workshop will be held at Yate Library on the evening of Tuesday 30 April and if you are interested in attending, please ensure you provide your name and email address as prompted when completing the survey: Have Your Say Today - Main Survey - Getting About In Yate (commonplace.is).
We are also planning to host a separate workshop for local schools and will contact schools directly with an invitation to join this.
